ACTUSAFE and failsafe electric drives, unlike conventional valve control drives, are designed specifically for operation at facilities with an increased requirement for fault-tolerant operation in all conditions. In emergency cases (power outages, triggering of an external signal) ACTUSAFE system drives will prevent possible consequences of an accident. The accumulated energy of the mechanical spring activates the device for transferring the valve to a safe position provided for by the technological process (normally open or normally closed NC).
